The Gynaecology Partnership Ltd – Modern Slavery Statement
The Gynaecology Partnership Ltd is fully committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and all forms of exploitation within our organisation and throughout the services we deliver. As a provider of gynaecology services across the Central East of England and West and North London, we recognise that we serve diverse communities, including individuals who may be vulnerable or at increased risk of coercion or abuse. We therefore take seriously our responsibility to uphold the dignity, safety, and human rights of every person who accesses our care.
Our Commitment
We uphold the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and maintain a strict zero‑tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. This commitment extends to our staff, clinical partners, suppliers, and all organisations with whom we work. We expect all parties connected to our service to demonstrate ethical conduct, transparency, and respect for human rights at all times.
Our Workforce and Supply Chains
We ensure that all staff are recruited safely, ethically, and in accordance with UK employment law. This includes verifying identity, right‑to‑work status, and professional qualifications. We do not engage with any recruitment agency or contractor that fails to meet these standards.
Our supply chains include clinical supplies, facilities services, and IT systems. We work only with reputable suppliers who can demonstrate compliance with labour laws, ethical sourcing, and fair working practices. Where appropriate, we seek assurances that suppliers have their own Modern Slavery Statements and robust internal controls.
Safeguarding and Training
Safeguarding is central to our clinical practice. All staff receive mandatory safeguarding training, which includes recognising the signs of modern slavery, understanding patterns of exploitation, and responding appropriately to concerns. Clinicians are trained to identify indicators of trafficking or coercion within healthcare settings and to follow established referral pathways. This ensures that any individual at risk receives timely, sensitive, and appropriate support.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage staff, patients, and partners to raise concerns without fear of reprisal. Concerns may be reported through our safeguarding team or via our whistleblowing process, which provides a confidential route for reporting unethical or unsafe practices. All concerns are taken seriously, investigated promptly, and escalated to external agencies where required.
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continually strengthening our approach to preventing modern slavery. This includes reviewing our internal policies, updating staff training, monitoring supplier compliance, and ensuring that our safeguarding processes remain aligned with national guidance and best practice. We will continue to assess emerging risks and take proactive steps to ensure our organisation remains vigilant and responsive.
